I have two Walmarts near me and one of them do not have the batteries at the $1 price point, if this is the case for you check Big Lots if you have one near or even Dollar General or Family Dollar for a good deal.
Also, in some stores (including Walmart) items can be misplaced. Don't be discouraged if you don't see your item immediately, your item may actually be there but on the wrong rack or shelf with the wrong tag. You can either ask an associate or if you see the battery tag for $1 but no batteries are on the holder, check the bar code and match it with the other packs. If the bar code on the tag for the $1 battery is ABCD and you find a pack with the same bar code, it was just missplaced and will ring up at the $1 price point.
