Endorse Decreases Reward for Retailers

Endorse announced that they are decreasing rewards for major retailers such as Target, Walmart, CVS, Rite Aid, etc... from 10% to 2%.  If you've made a purchase before November 11th, you will still receive 10%, but after that time it will be just 2%.  You can still receive 10% for product/brand purchases.

I knew this was coming, I couldn't see how Endorse was going to sustain this business model.  I love the idea of making money off my receipts, so I will take any amount!  But the 10% was too good to be true, but 2% can still add up!

Here is the official email from the company:

Hi Tammy,

We are writing to inform you that Endorse will be reducing the POP rewards from 10% to 2% for purchases of the following products you endorsed:
Dollar General
Target
Walmart
CVS
Rite Aid
Walgreens
Michaels Stores

What this means:
- If you bought any of the products above after endorsing it but before Sat, Nov 12 2011, we will be happy to provide 10% POP rewards on your purchase.
- If you buy any of the products above on or after Sat, Nov 12 2011, we will provide 2% POP rewards on your purchase.

Since we launched in August, we have worked hard to build Endorse into a service with a sustainable model that will be able to offer generous rewards for years to come.
Over the past few months, we have learned that offering rewards for one-time, high-cost purchases will not be sustainable in the long run.
We need to focus our business where we have the best opportunity to pass the savings on to you, which is in helping you and your family save money on the products you buy every day.

Thanks for using Endorse, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this change causes you.

-The Endorse Team
